How was your weekend?
This week I am focusing on how small achievements add up to big achievements.
1. NEW MONTH = NEW GOALS //
Last week I made a commitment to workout more and eat better. I’m so proud of myself that I worked out everyday and ate healthy all week. I started using my Fitbit food tracker and it’s so motivating to see that I am making good food choices.
I also made a commitment to save more money. I started small by committing to buying less coffee. I used to spend $10-$15 a week buying coffee. This week I bought coffee just once. I have been making coffee at home and drinking it on the way to work. By the end of the month I will save around $60 just by not buying coffee!
2. NEW MONTH = A NEW SCHEDULE //
Last week was my first “full” week back at work. It’s been so amazing having a more consistent schedule. I have been able to get to the gym everyday and get a decent amount of sleep each night without having to go to bed at 9pm every night!
3. NEW MONTH = NEW ENTERTAINMENT
This month I am reading IQ84 by Haruki Murakami (personal) and Girl, Stop Apologizing (book club).
I started watching The Mindy Project last weekend and I am loving it! If you haven’t watched it yet, I highly recommend giving it a try.
Hubby and I finished watching Season One of ‘The Boys’ on Amazon Prime. It was very different, but after a few episodes I really started to enjoy it.
